New details have been revealed about Blackpool Pier’s Crazy Coaster Wild Mouse roller coaster – an updated version of a classic attraction.
The coaster features improved random spinning movements that ensure a different sensation each time, a 420 metres track, and13 metre drop height. Crazy Coaster Wild Mouse has a capacity of 800 people an hour with eight cars running at any one time.
The ride was designed by Reverchon Attractions and constructed from steel – weighing in at 78 tonnes. The Crazy Coaster is located at the end of Blackpool’s South Pier, and had to be set in place by a heavy lifting crane – but only after waiting for the tide to go out!
