Clostermann Design is currently working on a handful of new dark ride and walk through attraction experiences in Europe.
At the Prater in Vienna, the German company will design and manufacture the scenic elements for an ice-themed dark ride (pictured here). Eis Berg (Iceberg) will send passengers on an interactive journey through the arctic sea. It will be operated at the Prater by the Koidl family, which insisted on a particularly quick installation time.
Set to open in April at Fårup Sommerland in Denmark is a new walkthough attraction set inside a cave, where guests are lead through winding, subterranean walkways to meet cheeky foxes, gigantic earthworms and beetles.
Meanwhile in Germany, Clostermann Design is working with showman Charles Blume on some new effects for his Event-Center travelling skyscraper attraction.
“In 2009, many of our customers postponed their decisions,” notes Matthias Clostermann. “They seem to want to make up for this delay now. At the moment all our departments are working on a busy schedule. The current activity shows that we are well positioned in the market and clients appreciate our competence and concepts in all areas of theming and entertainment.“
