A new roller coaster named Siren’s Curse is set to debut at Cedar Point in 2025, coinciding with the reopening of Top Thrill 2.

Located in Sandusky, Ohio, Siren’s Curse will open in early summer 2025. This attraction is classified as a tilt coaster, featuring a significant moment where the track tilts downward, seamlessly connecting to the subsequent section of the ride.

This experience can be likened to the initial scene in Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts at Universal Studios Florida, albeit in an outdoor setting and at a greater elevation. Siren’s Curse will achieve a top speed of 58 mph and reach a height of 160 feet.

Cedar Point announced this new attraction on September 19, 2024, although the manufacturer of Siren’s Curse was not disclosed. The ride will be themed around the legendary sirens of Lake Erie, which is situated adjacent to Cedar Point and can be seen from various coasters in the park, including the upcoming Siren’s Curse.

2025 is set to unveil two new roller coaster experiences rather than just one. Alongside the launch of Siren’s Curse, the park will also reopen Top Thrill 2, which first premiered in May 2024 but was only in operation for a week before being closed for necessary mechanical modifications.
