Located in Wildwood, New Jersey, Morey’s Piers’ Ocean Cafe offers one of the best views on the island, whether on a deck overlooking the water or inside the Ocean Oasis Waterpark and Beach Club. But the real treat is the menu, one that goes beyond regular boardwalk fayre.
Eschewing burgers, hot dogs and pizza, the offering includes coconut shrimp with citrus dipping sauce, salads with grilled chicken or fresh seafood, crab cake sandwiches and wraps, plus the popular Oasis sandwich with grilled chicken, bacon, smoked gouda and honey mustard on a toasted ciabatta. Liquid refreshments include tropical drinks, as you’d expect in the Caribbean.The exotic menu is thanks to Morey’s new executive chef, Wally Jurusz.
The menu also includes the Cheeseburger in Paradise, with fries …and a palm tree. All for $1,000. No takers yet.
