BARPL complete new land train
Bombay Amusement Rides (BARPL) recently completed a new 33-seater land train for India’s Lavasa tourism resort project between Pune and Mumbai.
This train is equipped with a 60HP 4-cylinder engine, power steering and MRF radial tires for optimum comfort. A four-wheel turning ensures the bogies follow the exact path of the engine and CCTV is used to monitor the bogies and ensure safe boarding and disembarkation.
The train also features oil immersed disc brakes and independent hydraulic wheel brakes, plus fully functional head and tail lights. The attendant is provided with their own seat plus an alarm and independent hand brake. An onboard music system plays both CDs and MPs and there is also an FM radio.
