Indoor Splash Battle opens
The first phase of the park’s new Banana Jungle area, Banana Battle has opened at Bobbejaanland, Lichtaart, Belgium. The themed attraction from 3DBA/Preston & Barbieri takes guests on an Amazonian voyage, but what makes this different to other Splash Battles is that the ride is built completely undercover.
“We built the Banana Battle first and foremost because water attractions are still the most popular attractions among our visitors,” reveals Bobbejaanland managing director Rudi Rasschaert. “This splash ride has everything – adventure, a battle, fun in the water and a great setting. Bobbejaanland is the only park in Belgium that has an attraction like this.”
Banana Jungle will soon also be home to the world’s first King Kong ride from Heimo/Huss Park Attractions, currently scheduled to open around mid-July.
