Bob Gurr advises Producers Group

Legendary ex-Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr has joined the board of advisors at The Producers Group.  Legendary ex-Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr has joined the board of advisors at The Producers Group.

During his long career, Gurr focused on attraction vehicles and audio-animatronic systems for many of the attractions at Disneyland in California, as well as Universal Studios and several Las Vegas properties. A winner of the prestigious TEA’s Thea Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1999, he is one of the elite few to  receive his own window on Main Street in Disneyland.

Based, like Walt Disney Imagineering, in Glendale, California, The Producers Group is headed by joint CEOs and executive producers Bob Chambers and Edward Marks. The company’s credits include the Crane Dance and various Universal Studios projects at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore, numerous other Universal and Disney commissions and collaborations with Gary Goddard, Thinkwell Design and The Hettema Group.

“I’m well acquainted with the company’s mission; I believe in their vision, and I’m excited and honoured to accept an advisory role,” reports Gurr.
