Bart Kinzel has been named the new vice-president and general manager of Carowinds, Charlotte, North Carolina.
Bart began his park career aged 15 at Valleyfair in Minnesota, also a Cedar Fair property, where he worked in the foods department filling soda machines. From there, he rose through the ranks and several years later moved to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, the flagship park of Cedar Fair chain. Bart has also held positions at Geauga Lake & Wild Water Kingdom in Aurora, Ohio, and Star Trek: the Experience in Las Vegas.
