BALPPA to host Trade Expo at Drayton Manor

The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) is staging a trade expo at Drayton Manor on Thursday, 23rd April.

The free to attend exhibition will feature over 30 suppliers of products and services essential to the leisure, play, theme parks and attractions industry.

Attendees will be able to meet organisations providing food and beverage, ticketing systems, lost and found software, insurance, mobile apps, as well as ride manufacturers, designers and builders of concepts for play areas and attractions.

There will also be representatives from companies offering marketing support, cleaning and maintenance services, as well as digital analytics and forensics.

In addition to the networking opportunities, the expo is also staging a series of seminars throughout the day on a variety of topics including sustainability, tapping into the £12 billion accessibility market and cyber-security!

There will also be a panel session based around the future of the industry which will be an ideal opportunity to hear from other operators, ask questions or lead discussions about Industry matters such as food and beverage, extra sources of income, marketing ideas, software, new concepts or staffing problems!

In the evening the organisation, which has over 300 members, will be hosting its annual awards ceremony with categories including visitor attraction of the year, employee of excellence, family attraction of the year, inclusivity award and excellence in food and beverage.

Founded in 1936, BALPPA is the non-profit-making Trade Association representing the interests of owners, managers, suppliers and developers in the UK’s commercial leisure parks, piers, zoos, family entertainment centres (indoor play and soft play centres) and static visitor attractions sector.
