BALPPA moves Trade Expo to November

The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) is rescheduling its trade expo at Drayton Manor to November.

The free to attend exhibition, which takes place on Tuesday, 24th November will feature over 30 suppliers of products and services essential to the leisure, play, theme parks and attractions industry.

Attendees will be able to meet organisations providing food and beverage, ticketing systems, lost and found software, insurance, mobile apps, as well as ride manufacturers, designers and builders of concepts for play areas and attractions.

There will also be representatives from companies offering marketing support, cleaning and maintenance services, as well as digital analytics and forensics.

In addition to the networking opportunities, the expo is staging a marketing seminar on Wednesday, November 25th and a Health and Safety seminar on Thursday, November 26th also at Drayton Manor.

On the Tuesday evening BALPPA, which has over 300 members, will be hosting its annual awards ceremony with categories including visitor attraction of the year, employee of excellence, family attraction of the year, inclusivity award and excellence in food and beverage.

Founded in 1936, BALPPA is the non-profit-making Trade Association representing the interests of owners, managers, suppliers and developers in the UK’s commercial leisure parks, piers, zoos, family entertainment centres (indoor play and soft play centres) and static visitor attractions sector.
