Located in the Tekirova district in Antalya, Turkey, Ali Bey Premier is a luxury beachfront waterpark resort hotel. Surrounded by Olympos Mountains and three islands, the five-facility sits on the edge of a forest overlooking the Mediterranean coast.
The 583-room hotel, which opened this summer, is complemented by a 22,000 square metre waterpark designed and fitted out by Turkey’s own Polin Waterparks & Pool Systems. Not open to the general public, the waterpark features a total of 26 waterslides, a themed interactive waterplay structure, a pirate ship feature, splash pools, several activity pools, a major kids pool and lots of additional slides and attractions for small children.
The majority of the slides come from Polin’s range of extreme and inner tube rides. Add them all up and they total 1km in length! Polin’s “Magic Shine” (shiny on both sides) and natural light effects give the slides great visual appeal. Headline-grabbing attractions include the Space Boat, Uphill Flying Boats and Family Rafting ride. As well as classic twists and turns, these extreme slides contain uphill sections and vertical drops, with water jets propelling riders through the ride.
Ali Bey’s “regular” slides include tunnel, body and family slides, all with a Magic Shine finish, while younger guests will enjoy the snake, turtle, rabbit, elephant and frog slides, plus features like whale and mushroom fountains.
The waterpark’s pirate-themed play structure, Pirates of the Mediterranean (pictured top left), was custom designed by Polin. Built around several “aqua towers,” it includes numerous slides, climbing nets, tipping buckets, water cannons and other interactive play features. A separate pirate ship enhances the park’s kids area, incorporating its own slides.

Built at a cost around €85 million ($110m) by the Gural Group, Ali Bey Premier features a contemporary take on Ottoman and Seljuk architectural styles. As well as the waterpark, guests can also enjoy a top-of-the range spa complex with 23 treatment rooms, an all-day buffet restaurant serving Turkish and international cuisine, plus several other casual and upscale dining opportunities.
