Flying Theatres: A constantly evolving format
When Soarin’ over California opened at Disneyland Anaheim in 2001 it marked the beginning of a brand new format. In the 20 years since, the Flying Theatre has become a much more scalable attraction, making it possible for theme parks and FEC’s of all shapes and sizes to capitalise on the trend for immersive experiences. It’s also making its mark as a stand alone attraction, with theatres springing up in tourist hotspots around the world. Park World reports…
