Having been severely affected by the floods of July 16, Walibi Belgium plans to reopen at the beginning of October in time for the Halloween season.
On July 16, both the Walibi Belgium and Aqualibi parks were forced to close their doors following major flooding which damaged a large part of the site’s technical infrastructure.
“For several days, our teams have been working tirelessly to restore the site as quickly as possible. In view of the damage, we now know that we will not be able to reopen before the beginning of October. However, we challenge ourselves to reopen our doors for the Halloween season, hosting the most spectacular event the park has ever seen. The appointment is made!” said Jean-Christophe Parent, managing director, Walibi Belgium-Aqualibi.
