2nd China Theme Park and Resort Expansion Summit

Due to be held for a second time this June in Shanghai, the China Theme Park and Resort Expansion Summit promises to unite more than 300 high level professionals for two days of seminars and discussions on China’s latest industrial policies, major theme park projects, global management strategies and the future of the industry.

Represented will be government departments, various trade associations and real estate developers, as well as theme park operators including Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Universal Studios Beijing and Zhejiang Hello Kitty Theme Park.

The theme park industry in China averages 100 million visitors per year and a yearly average consumption of more than 100 billion RMB ($16bn/€13bn). According to a forecast by the World Tourism Organization, by the year 2020 China will overtake France and Spain to become the world’s leading tourist destination.

Organised by Noppen, the summit in Shanghai will be held on Wednesday and Thursday June 27 and 28 at the Hilton Hongqiao hotel, close to the city’s domestic airport – and it’s still not too late to register.
