nWave Pictures has been announced as the worldwide distributor for 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, the new 3D/4D film from English animation studio Red Star.
Re-imagining the classic Jules Verne tale for 21st Century theme park audiences, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea 4D takes viewers on the journey of teenager Ned as he plunges into a world of adventure aboard the submarine Nautilus commanded by the mysterious Captain Nemo. The thrilling 3D adventure comes complete with cues for 4D effects such as water splashes, wind blasts and bubbles.
Thanks to the undersea subject matter and environmental issues, the film is thought to be suitable for aquariums and waterparks as well as theme/amusement parks. nWave will be showing the film on its booth this month at Euro Attractions Show in Berlin, and in November at IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando.
